I am a researcher and a serious transit nerd. I co-founded the Time Keepers to improve transit reliability by leveraging big data. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech, I evaluated the causes of transit ridership decline on a disaggregated spatial and temporal scale. In my Ph.D., I invented a dynamic dispatching algorithm that replaces schedules and helps minimize passenger waiting time on frequent transit routes. Now I help transit agencies implement these tools and provide expertise on real-time operations. I have also founded the MARTA Army, one of the largest transit advocacy organizations in the country.
